Before You Start

Make sure that:

You have access to the Google account connected to your Google Search Console property.

Your Shopify store has already been added and verified in Google Search Console.

If your store has not yet been added to Google Search Console, follow the steps below.

Then click Add property.

Step 2: Enter Your Store Domain

Choose the appropriate property type and enter your Shopify store domain.

Then click Continue.

Step 3: Verify Domain Ownership

Google will ask you to verify that you own the domain.

The available verification method depends on your domain provider. For a Domain property, you will usually need to add a DNS record through your domain provider.

For example, if your domain is managed through Cloudflare:

  1. Sign in to your Cloudflare account.
  2. Add the DNS record provided by Google Search Console.
  3. Return to Google Search Console.
  4. Click Verify.

DNS changes may take some time to update. If verification does not succeed immediately, wait a few minutes and try again.

After verification is complete, your Shopify store will appear as a property in Google Search Console.

You can now connect it to SEOWILL.
